Curt Stovell on from the Noorani stand end, off spin over the wicket to Taylor. Dot, full and defended. Dot, full and defended. Dot, full and pushed to cover. Good length on the stumps, Nadkarni was beaten in flight but continued the shot and connects sweetly to hammer it over midwicket, clearing the ropes by 15 yards. Single, short outside off, slapped to the cover sweeper. Single, short on the stumps, cross batted past the bowler to long on. Mishra not middling the ball as well as he was on Tuesday, but he's up into double digits now. Single, short outside off, tapped into the off side gap. USA 62/1 in 7.

 Sam Robinson comes on to bowl now off spin, facing Nadkarni around the stumps. Single, full and sliced behind point. Over the wicket to Mishra. Dot, full and pushed to midwicket. FOUR! Full on the stumps, Mishra clubs it straight down the ground, splitting long on and long off perfectly. Dot, full and wide, guided behind point. OUT! Full on the stumps, came down the track and the ball turned as he made contact, splicing it tamely to midwicket where Hemp waited as the ball fluttered gently toward him. He takes it diving forward.  Gilbert to Nadkarni. Single, short outside off, carved to the cover sweeper. Baker to face Gilbert for the first time. Single, full on the stumps, swept to deep backward square. Wide, full and down leg, Nadkarni went for a heave but misses. Dot, full outside off, driven straight to cover. FOUR! Full outside off, rocks back to cut it square past backward point, the cover sweeper is too wide to field. FOUR! Flighted full on the legs, swept over short fine leg and deep midwicket jogs to the ball to throw it back from over the rope. Single, short on the stumps, punched off the back foot to long off. USA 79/2 in 9. 180 should be a minimum against this attack on this ground.

 Robinson to Nadkarni. Single, full outside off, stroked to the cover sweeper. Single, full on the stumps, driven to long on. Dot, darted into the legs, defended to the bowler. Two wides, darted towards the legs again, goes down leg side off the keeper and short fine leg fields as they switch strike. Single, full and driven firmly to long on. There's a cool breeze blowing across the ground, it's a very nice day here, in the mid to high 70s. Single, full and driven to long off. Wide, full and down leg. Dot, full and defended.  Janeiro Tucker on to bowl now, gentle slow medium pace with the keeper up to the stumps to Nadkarni. Single, full on the legs, clipped to midwicket. Dot, fullish outside off, Baker goes for a back foot drive and misses. Single, full and lofted to long off. Leg bye, full on the legs, goes for a heave and misses off the pads, the ball dribbles to square leg. Single, full and driven to long on. Very professional partnership so far between these two. Baker skips down the track and goes for a massive swipe. We don't often see that from him. He connects exquisitely and it sails over deep midwicket. Dot, full and defended. FOUR! Full on the legs, goes to sweep, tickles it fine and it darts past the keeper and short fine leg. USA 104/2 in 12.

 Tucker to Nadkarni. Wide, attempted slower ball goes down leg side. Single, full on the legs, slogged to deep midwicket. Single, full and stroked to long on. SIX! Cries of catch it as Nadkarni didn't quite middle it going straight down the ground, but he got enough under it to clear the ropes. SIX! No doubt about this one! Full on the legs, slogged high and very deep over midwicket. Single, full outside off and stroked to long off. Single, slower ball lands full outside off, opens the face to guide it behind point.  Kamau Leverock, Dwayne's nephew, comes on to bowl right arm medium pace from the Noorani Stand End. The keeper stands back for the first time this innings. Over the stumps the teenager will bowl to Baker. Single, full on the legs, flicked to deep square leg. Staying over the wicket to Nadkarni, on 42. Baker is now on 19 at the non-striker's end. SIX! Unlucky there for Leverock. He tried a bouncer and hurried Nadkarni who went to pull. A top edge sails high over the wicketkeeper and carries into the seats. Leverock now wants to come around the stumps. Orlando Baker is calling for a new bat it looks like, or if not a bat, then some tape to smooth over a crack. The man on the cover boundary is giving Baker some stick. Now we continue. Dot, good length on the stumps, defended to Leverock. OUT!
