USA has gotten off to a very good start and Sushil Nadkarni is killing the ball once again today. Three sixes already. But he's just been bowled for 39 unofficially. USA 54/2 in 10 overs.

 USA finished 123/8 in their 20. Far too many dot balls in the middle overs. USA was 54/2 in 10 overs, but 77/5 after 16. Adil Bhatti played marvelously in his debut innings to boost USA but they'll have to fight like hell in the field to defend this. Nadkarni, as he has done all tour so far, batted superbly for 39 off 33 balls including 3 sixes, one of which went out of the ground over midwicket. Second innings coming up shortly.

 Shuja to Mukasa. Dot, full outside off, Mukasa late on a big attempted drive. OUT! RUN OUT! Huge effort from Hutchinson! It was a good length ball on the legs flicked squarish to long leg. Hutchinson had a lot of ground to cover and Mukasa took him on for the second, but Elmore fired a bullet over the stumps and Mustafa whipped off the bails with Mukasa's dive a foot short. Uganda 1/1 in 0.2 overs. Arthur Ziraba the new man in, right handed. Dot, full length ball outside off, misses a drive. Dot, full on the stumps, drive to Shuja who falls forward to stop in his follow through. Dot, short of a length outside off, tapped to point and Corns swoops in to stop a single. Dot, good length ball outside off, goes to defend and mishits it onto his pads, nearly played on there. Uganda 1/1 in 1 over.

 Muhammad Ghous to open from the Media End, off spin over the stumps to the lefty Kyobe. Baker in at slip. Dot, full and driven to Ghous. Dot, full on the pads and defended. Speared in full, Kyobe tried to stab it out and missed, ball just misses off stump and beats Mustafa, sails to the rope. Dot, full on the legs, misses a sweep, LBW shout denied, pitched outside leg.  Ryan Corns comes on to bowl the third over, left arm spin over the wicket to Ziraba. Dot, full and driven to Baker at mid off. Wide, full and down leg, well stopped by Mustafa to save five. Dot, full and defended to Nadkarni at midwicket. Dot, full and defended to Nadkarni. OUT! Full on the stumps, chipped in the air to long on, Khan jogs in before settling to take a simple catch crouched on his knees. Ziraba out for an 8 ball duck.  Corns to Sematimba. Two, full on the legs, flicked fine past the keeper and Hutchinson has work to do at fine leg to cut it off. Dot, full and defended. Mustafa chases it from behind the stumps. Two, full on the stumps, reverse sweep hit to third man for a run, Taylor too keen with a throw and the backup man can't get it, resulting in an overthrow. Dot, full and clipped to square leg.  Asif Khan replaces Ghous from the Media End, left arm spin over the stumps to Kyobe. Two, full on the stumps, chipped in the air just wide of a diving Mishra at midwicket in the ring and Hutchinson cuts it off at long on. Single, short and wide, slapped to point, Corns dives and knocks it down but can't stop the single. Khan now around the wicket to the righty Sematimba. Dot, full on the stumps, defended to square leg. Dot, full and defended to square leg again, Ghous. Dot, full and defended to Khan. OUT! Sematimba got frustrated, came down the track for a big hit. Beaten badly in flight and the ball spins back to hit the top of middle. Sematimba out for 6. Uganda 16/3 in 6 overs.

 Hutchinson comes on to bowl in place of Corns at the Noorani stand end. Left arm fast medium over the wicket to Kyobe. Ben Musoke the new man in off strike. Single, full and driven to mid off. Musoke now to face, right hand bat. Dot, full and driven to cover. Dot, full outside off, driven to extra cover. Musoke batting with a hat, not a helmet. Dot, short outside off, pulled to midwicket and the captain Nadkarni makes a wonderful diving stop to save for. He's on the ground now and the physio needs to come out. I think he's probably just got the wind knocked out of him landing on his stomach. He was like a salmon in the air. Nadkarni back on his feet now, stretching out his left shoulder but he'll stay on the field. Dot, full on the stumps, clipped to square leg. Dot, full and wide, sliced to point. Full and wide outside off, Musoke frees his arms and hits with the spin, lofting it way over mid off for his first runs. Single, pulls back the length and its hit into the covers.  Single, full and lofted to long on and Hutchinson stops the second. Dot, good length on the stumps and defended to cover. Dot, good length outside off, goes to defend and inside edges it past the stumps to short fine leg. Uganda 26/3 in 8.

 Hutchinson to Kyobe. SIX! Short on the legs, pulled viciously over square leg and into the seats, nearly out of the ground. It traveled quickly. Deep square and deep fine leg in place now. Only one man was there before. Dot, full outside off, goes for a massive hit and misses, ball kept slightly low. No one outside the ring on the off side except third man.
