Re: Radiant Info Twenty20 USA 2010 Championship: Bedessee NY Destroyers vs. Global NJ Daredevils
Oneil Powell was dropped on the midwicket boundary in the third over as the fielder could only get one hand to a ball that he wound up knocking over the rope for 6. He was then put down again two balls later at cover as the fielder could not complete a diving attempt running back. Powell has now moved to 15, Hall 13 and the score is 33/0 in 4 overs for Global NJ Daredevils batting first.

Hall and Powell are cruising here. Hall is on 25, Powell 16 and the score is 46/0 in 6 overs. It's absolutely gorgeous here at Watsessingon Labor Day. 75 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

Oneil Powell got out skying an attempted pull off the bowling of George Adams. Adams ran over towards cover to take the catch to send off Powell for 16 to make it 46 for 1. Aditya Mishra has joined Glen Hall at the crease and after 7 overs, the score is 51/1. Adams finishes 4-0-31-1.

Global had a brief hiccup with three wickets lost in the space of six runs to make it 52 for 3 in 8 overs. However, Hall is still there and has just brought up his 50 and is getting support from Sean Stanislaus. Global has moved to 86 for 3 in 13 overs and should look to get to 140-150.

Hall is crushing it right now. He's got 5 fours and 3 sixes and is on 62 right now. Stanislaus is on 16 and Global is at 99 for 3 in 14 overs.

An overthrow on the 5th ball of the 15th over allowed Sean Stanislaus to get on strike and he hammered a six over long on to finish the over. Global are now 113 for 3 in 15 and can reach 165 if they keep up the pace.

Hall smashed back to back sixes over long on to start the 16th over. But he has just perished off the final ball going for another one. He skied a slog from Barrington Bartley to be caught at mid on for 81. Global is 127/4 now after 16. The partnership with Stanislaus was good for 75 runs.

Kavishwar Bridgepaul just took a marvelous catch diving to his left on the midwicket boundary to dismiss Kumar Nandalal and New York has pulled back into the game with two quick wickets. After 17, it's 137 for 5 for Global. Stanislaus is still going strong and ended the over with his third six. He's on 34 and Siddharth Mehta is new to the crease yet to face a ball.

Global finished 174 for 7 in 20 overs. Glen Hall was the top score, 81 in 56 balls, the highest score of the tourney so far. He notched five fours and five sixes in his knock. New York have a tall order to complete if they want to repeat as champs.

Jermaine Lawson has pulled up lame after the fifth ball of the first over. He tried to bowl the last ball and is now on the ground getting some treatment from Basil Butcher jr. Andrew Gonsalves fell lbw first ball of the innings and after one over, Destroyers are 7/1.

Lawson is gutting it out off a shortened run up and just took his second wicket, bowling Evans for 9. It's 25/2 in three with 175 needed to win.

Lawson has now taken three in a gutsy display after he had Thomas caught in the gully. Dodson is trying to counterattack and has three fours and a six in his 22. NY is 42/3 in five overs.

Jermaine Lawson has just taken a remarkable five wicket haul. Lawson has bowled off a short run after hurting his hamstring in the first over, but has taken 5 for 28 to reduce NY to 47/5 in seven overs. Global is in complete control.

Re: Radiant Info Twenty20 USA 2010 Championship: Bedessee NY Destroyers vs. Global NJ Daredevils
Destroyers captain Barrington Bartley is bringing a counterattack to Global now that Lawson is finished with his quota. Bartley hammered a big six on 17 after coming in at #5 and is batting with Nick Standford right now. These two scored 75 unbeaten for the 5th wicket yesterday against New England to lead their team into the finals. They'll need a similar performance if NY is going to come back and win. NY is 62/5 in 9 needing 175 to win.
