Good morning in LA for the last day of the 2012 ACF Twenty20. Peter Della Penna here and I'll be giving live updates throughout semifinal number two between SCCA and Massachusetts State Cricket League as well as periodic scores from the CLNJ vs Midwest CC match. SCCA won the toss and elected to bat first. 

Rohit Yadav and Clayon Graham are opening for SCCA, Alexi Martin opening the bowling right arm medium from the Access Road End. Yadav a right hand bat. SIX! First ball is a bouncer on the body hooked viciously over square leg. FOUR! On the legs again, pulled behind square. Dot, short outside off, goes to cut and is beaten. Two, full on the legs, clipped fine. Dot, good length ball defended, checks his shot and the ball falls just short of the bowler. Two, full outside off, hit through the covers, the through comes in over the keeper's head and they take an overthrow. SCCA 14/0 in 1. 

 Hemant Punoo to open from the Marder End, right arm off spin to Graham. Single, full and stroked down the ground. Dot. Two, full and hit to point, the throw to the bowler's end misses the stumps and no back up results in a second. SIX! Yadav makes them pay for letting him keep the strike, full on the legs, slog swept over deep midwicket. Dot, full on the stumps, mishits a drive. Dot, full and defended. SCCA 23/0 in 2.

 Martin to Graham. Dot, full outside off, driven to point. Single, full on the legs, driven to mid on. OUT! Fullish length ball on the stumps, Yadav with a carefree drive in the air and Lakhram Sanichar takes a wonderful catch with a mini leap, two hands over his head at mid on. Yadav out for 22 in 12 balls, SCCA 24/1 in 2.3 overs. Mohammad Asad the new man in off strike. Single, full on the legs, inside edged off the pads to midwicket. Asad now on strike, right hand bat. Single, short outside off, mistimes a cut wide of gully. FOUR! Full toss outside off, slapped through the covers. SCCA 30/1 in 3.

 Punoo to Asad. SIX! Full on the stumps, thumps a straight drive right over Punoo's head and into the Marder Ground. This game is on the Wong Ground. Single, full on the legs, clipped fine. Two, full on the legs, clips it past fine leg for a pair. Single, full outside off, sliced behind point. Dot, full on the stumps, hit to midwicket. Dot, full and defended. SCCA 40/1 in 4.

 Martin to Graham. FOUR! Length ball on the stumps, Graham is confident of the true bounce and swings across the line, sending it over mid on. Dot. FOUR! Short on the legs, pulled hard over midwicket. FOUR! Short again, pulls it just wide of midwicket in the ring and the ball eventually bounces over the line. Single, full on the stumps, stroked in the air but well short of mid off. Dot. SCCA 53/1 in 5.

 Manpreet Singh replaces Punoo from the Marder End now, right arm medium to Graham. Single, yorker jammed out to square leg. FOUR! Full toss on the legs, flicked very fine and it races through fine leg to the boundary. FOUR! Short on the legs, pulled behind square. SCCA is on fire here. Single. FOUR! Short on the legs again, pulled in front of square. MSCL's bowling has been quite poor and SCCA is all to happy to feast on it. Single, full on the stumps, stroked to midwicket, they set off for a suicide run. The fielder throws to the bowler low and it was a tough ball to handle, the bowler broke the stumps without the ball in his hand or else Graham was out. SCCA 68/1 in 6.

According to MWCC's Facebook page, MWCC is 20/1 in 5 overs versus CLNJ.   Shahmeer run out early on.  Abhijeet and Sandeep are batting.

 Sundaramani Venkatapathi is now on to bowl for MSCL, gentle right arm seam, facing Asad. Single. FOUR! Short on the legs, pulled behind square, misfield on the boundary to turn one into four. Single, short outside off, sliced behind point. Dot, full on the pads, can't flick it away. Two, fullish on the legs, paddled fine past the keeper. FOUR! Quicker on the legs, paddled exquisitely past the keeper and it races away, shot of the day so far by Asad. SCCA 90/1 in 8.

In the match between CLNJ and MWCC, MWCC are 31/1 after 7 overs.

CLNJ is undefeated in the tournament.   For their part, MWCC are coming off two solid back to back wins yesterday - they defeated Southern Connecticut Cricket Assocation in the morning game by a 48 run margin, and won by 7 wickets against Washington Metro Cricket Board in the afternoon.

Two leg byes, bouncer on the stumps, goes to pull and it goes off the arm over the keeper's head to third man. SCCA 103/1 in 9.

 Sharaz Baksh comes on now, right arm medium to Graham. Dot. Single. Single. DROPPED! FOUR! Short on the stumps, Graham pulls it high and deep to midwicket, Martin runs 20 yards to his right and puts in a great diving effort, gets hands to it a foot above the ground but it bursts through and goes to the rope. Single. Two. SCCA 112/1 in 10.
