Grand Prairie Cricket Club acquires a "STADIUM" !!!

    Dear friends,

It is with great pride that I announce this exciting news that Grand Prairie Cricket Club has now acquired the rights to play at the QT Baseball Stadium which is home to the "Grand Prairie Air Hogs" Baseball Team.

This agreement was held approximately two weeks ago, whereupon some of our club members went and attended a game at this beautiful, brand new ballpark.  Our presence was announced on the Jumbo Tron and we were asked to sing "Take me out to the ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch.

This ballpark is sandwiched between Lonestar Park and Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie, so the location is ideal.

Plans are currently underway to arrange some sort of a mega cricket event.  At the same time, I humbly request our local cricketing community to help and support Grand Prairie Cricket Club bring this dream to fruition.

With your help and the Grace of God we hope to celebrate this landmark event in our Club's young history.

    Faisal-bhai,

Congratulations from the DreamCricket team on this excellent development.  This is indeed a landmark event - not just for GPCC but for USA cricket overall.  With your permission, we would like to broadcast this news to the entire USA cricket community via a news release.   Will call you for details.

Faisal and the entire GPCC team, Congratulations on reaching another significant milestone in your clubs short history! This is simply amazing, we are very happy for you guys and hope that you continue to accomplish all your goals.

Having access to such a facility opens up unlimited options as far as cricketing events are concerned, the DFW area being centrally located in the US will certainly attract several potential projects. Please let me know if I can help in anyway.

    Great job guys!!

What kind of pitch will they be using at this stadium?  Matting?

Flicx would work just as well.  And there are other (more expensive) alternatives.

We are currently exploring using a ficx pitch. It would have to be something we could remove after the game is over.

Having seen the pictures of the stadium, what do you guys think??
