     At Wright Field, Midwest Cricket Conference made 154 for 7 in 20 vs. Southern Connecticut Cricket Association. The chase is now underway. Karan Singh and Abishek Patel opening and after one over the score is 2/0.

    Sameer Raorane bowling off spin now to start the second over facing Singh. Singe, full and driven to the off side. Dot, good length ball beats the outside edge. OUT! Full ball on the stumps, lofted to long on who is one of the two men on the boundary in the power play. He takes a very good catch reaching up over his head just inside the line. Patel out for 0, So Conn 3/1 in 1.3 overs. Nabeel Khan is the new man in off strike. Dot, full and driven to midwicket. Dot, full and pushed to cover. Dot, full and driven to midwicket. So Conn 3/1 in 2.

     Aditya Venkatesan to Khan, right arm medium to a right hand batsman. Dot, good length ball defended. Dot, full and defended to cover. Single, full on the stumps, driven in the air but short of long on. OUT! Short ball outside off, Singh looked confused what to do, whether to cut or pull. He continues on with an awkward shot that pops up in the air to Nirav Amin at extra cover who takes a simple catch. Singh out for 2, So Conn 4/2 in 2.4 overs. Carl Whyte the new man in off strike. Single, full and clipped behind square. Wide, short and well outside off. Dot, short outside off and left. So Conn 6/2 in 3.

     Raorane to Khan. FOUR! Short on the legs, scoops it over square leg. Dot, full and driven to the bowler. Single, short and pulled wide of long on. Dot, quicker ball lands full and defended. Dot, quick and full again, defended to the bowler. Dot, short on the stumps, pulled to midwicket. So Conn 11/2 in 4.

     Venkatesan to Khan. Two, short on the stumps, pulled wide of long on, who looked like he was going to make an attempt at a catch before pulling out when the sun got in his eyes. Two, hit to the off side, the throw for the stumps at the striker's end misses, no back up and they take an overthrow. Single, good length ball hit into the off side. Dot, slower ball lands full, Whyte through the shot early. Dot, another slower ball and Whyte's head flies up and about as he misses a big heave. Dot, good length ball beats the back foot defense. So Conn 16/2 in 5.

     Mir Alavi on to bowl now, off spin to Khan. Alavi made 35 not out in the first innings. Five wides, short and down leg side, the keeper can't stop it and it bounces away to the rope. FOUR! Short on the legs, pulled through midwicket. SIX! Full on the legs, slogged high over square leg and Khan is singlehandedly getting So Conn back into this chase after a rocky start. Single, full and clipped to square leg. Dot, good length ball defended to cover. OUT! Flighted full on the stumps, Whyte goes for another heave in frustration and misses, hit on the back leg, big LBW shout upheld and Whyte is gone for a nine-ball duck after being the hero yesterday for So Conn in the super over. So Conn 32/3 in 5.5 overs. Nirav Patel the new man in, right hand bat. Wide, full and down leg. Dot, full and mistimed into the ground. So Conn 33/3 in 6.

     Venkatesan to Khan. Single, full on the stumps, mistimes a slog to deep midwicket. Dot, full and defended. Single, slower ball on a good length outside off tapped into the off side. OUT! Fullish length ball outside off, Khan goes for another heave and gets a thin edge that's well taken by the keeper standing up to the stumps. Khan out for 24, So Conn 35/4 in 6.4 overs. Raymond Atta the new man in, right hand bat. Dot, full and stroked back to the bowler. Single, slower ball lands full outside off, driven to long off. So Conn 36/4 in 7. Venkatesan finishes 4-0-13-2. He's not very quick, but very clever with his variations.

     Abhijit Joshi on to bowl off spin now, facing Atta. Dot, good length ball off the pads down leg side. Single, full outside off, lofted to the cover sweeper. Single, full and guided behind point. Dot, good length ball hit to midwicket. Single, full and driven in the air to long off. OUT! Patel tried using his feet, beaten badly by a slightly quicker ball on a good length, simple stumping by Rajpar. Patel out for 2, So Conn struggling badly here at 39/5 in 8.

     Nirav Amin on to bowl left arm spin to Atta. Jay Singh the new man in off strike. OUT! Full on the stumps, lofted to the cover boundary where Venkatesan takes a simple catch 10 yards in from the rope. Atta out for 3, So Conn 39/6. The bats crossed in the air. Afzal Mohammad is the new man in off strike. Dot. Dot. Dot. Single. Wide. Dot. So Conn 41/6 in 8.

     Joshi to Singh. Dot, full and pushed to point. Dot, full and defended. Dot, full and pushed to Joshi. Single, good length ball guided behind point. OUT! Good length ball, Mohammad tried to run it to third man fine past the keeper but only managed to get a thin edge that was juggled before being taken by the keeper Rajpar. Mohammad out for 10, So Conn 68/7 in 13.5 overs.Akash Joshi the new man in, right hand bat. OUT! Short ball that he creamed but straight to cover. Joshi takes 2 in 2 to end his four over spell. So Conn 68/8 in 14.
