• ICL gets a slap in the face from New Zealand Cricket

  On August 30th, there were reports that NZC would go as far as sue the players that signed for ICL. Stephen Fleming and Shane Bond were among the players whose names were mentioned as prospects for ICL. The two eventually did not sign for ICL. [But the threats of lawsuits were not enough to scare off Chris Cairns, Hamish Marshall and Daryll Tuffey (Chandigarh Lions), Chris Harris (Hyderabad Heroes), Craign McMillan (Kolkata Tigers), Nathan Astle (Mumbai Champs).
