Was surfing the web about cricket sponsorships and found this.   A UK cricket club was stumped clean in April of 2006 when it overstepped the line on sponsorships.   The Southport Trinity Club signed up with Nice'n'Naughty, a sex shop, for the new season and even got shirts made for the club displaying the firm's logo. 

Too bad because the shirts had to be trashed and the money returned to the sponsor after the league's management played spoilsport and threatened to exclude the club out of the Liverpool and District league.  The shop however got a ton of publicity.
